1. Standardise how bug reports reach you
You can't automate chaos. If bug reports trickle in via WhatsApp, email, Instagram DMs, and the occasional phone call, no system will catch them all reliably. Pick one or two intake channels and train your customers to use them.
A simple WhatsApp number with a pinned message like "Having a problem? Type BUG followed by what you're seeing" gives you structured input to work with. A short form on your site (Tally or Typeform, both free tiers) is even better for capturing device, browser, and steps to reproduce. The goal is consistent, machine-readable input — not a novel.
2. Auto-create the ticket the moment a report lands
Once reports come in through a predictable channel, connect it to your tracker using a no-code automation tool like Make (formerly Integromat) or Zapier. The trigger is the incoming message or form submission; the action is a new ticket in Linear, Jira, GitHub Issues, or whatever you use.

Add one more automation step: when the ticket status moves to "Done" (or "Closed" or "Released"), trigger a WhatsApp or email message to the original reporter: "Quick update — the login issue you flagged last week is fixed in today's update. Thanks for catching it." That's it. Two sentences. It turns a frustrated user into someone who feels like a contributor, not a victim.
